The Nukleas Integrated Security Solutions consortium is formed of leading UK security companies, each with a successful legacy of enhancing UK national security and delivering effective and efficient solutions to the UK Emergency Services and critical national infrastructure. Together, the consortium companies have over 100 years of experience of exporting their innovative and complimentary capabilities to overseas markets, ensuring the safety and security of people and infrastructure across the globe.

The consortium concept, which is advocated by the UK Government’s Department for International Trade’s Security Export Strategy, has been developed to offer the discerning overseas customer with a coordinated and integrated command and control solution for multiple security and safety requirements. The companies’ products, software and services have been developed and manufactured in the United Kingdom and they pride themselves in delivering solution excellence and long-term customer support for the lifecycle of their products.

Richard Freeman, Director of Nukleas, served in command positions in the Metropolitan Police, completing his career on secondment to the Home Office Centre of Applied Science and Technology. As Senior Police Adviser to the Director, he led covert surveillance programmes and working closely with government scientists, he liaised with the security industry to develop, and then promote, niche covert capabilities to UK and overseas security agencies.

After 9 years of UK government security export experience, Richard left the Civil Service in June 2018 to concentrate on providing a more focused service to industry and formed his own company (Nukleas Ltd) delivering focused support and strategic advice to companies new to export or wishing to expand in overseas markets.
